Welcome! To Bring "To The Fore" the mentoring of foster children to afford them every opportunity to succeed in life. This site is dedicated to Bettie and Vinny Shea of New Jersey, who were foster and adoptive parents who took many children into their care and provided them with love, food, shelter, and education. The Sheas touched many lives, and I hope to inspire others in their memory to share their message of the importance of mentoring others. Based in Tampa, Bettie Vinny Fore the Kids partnered with Embrella-A New Jersey Foster Care Non-Profit 501c3 organization whose mission is to provide advocacy and enriching programs and services to empower families and youth to thrive. In 2021, together with Embrella we offered the Bettie Jane Shea Memorial Grant. This opened the door to creating Bettie Vinny Fore The Kids as a Florida 501c3 nonprofit.
